The jubilations were great, when on Sunday they lifted the siege on Phuket airport, boy did we do a little jig to this.
Unfortunately as is so common with this life, you get picked up only to get knocked down again, when we found out last night they had declared martial law in Bangkok after a man was killed and 38 injured in Clashes between PAD demonstrators and Pro Government Paraders.
I wonder how they got injured i mean didn't the police think to stop the people carrying stuff like this? its not like you can hide it up your sleeve or in your pocket. By the way love the guy with a catapult next to him.
So now the Thai Government has declared Martial Law in Bangkok meaning that groups of no more than 5 people can gather in public ( that's the Lady Boys Gang Bang sessions out of the window !!!) and a curfew has been imposed.
Now the good news is the Martial law is confined to Bangkok, however if there many more Samurais out there no doubt they'll want to make it nation wide.
In all seriousness from what i can gather most of the gatherings have been peaceful and have been carried out in a peaceful fashion.
Hopefully the martial law will all calm down in Thailand and from a purely selfish point of view we can get on with enjoying our trip.
This morning saw us get our Double Entry (oo er) visa and that means if we time it right if we so choose we could potentially tour round SE Asia till March however i think the more likely date is mid Jan (funds permitting)
So one week to go and then the moment of truth.
Yeah Baby Yeah!!!!
