Is That Your Trunk? Or Are You Just Pleased To See Me!

OK so last night we went out for a meal in Ao-Nang, one thing that is hard to explain to you folks back home is how great Thai cooking is, no really it is great it's not like when you go out for a meal and you comment yeah that was nice to the waiter when really it was just decidedly OK, i mean Thai food is bloody phenomenal every dish is a subtle infusion of tastes that explode onto your taste buds, even when you have a curry that could be used to remove paint from old wood(yes some are this hot) you still get subtle tastes of lemon grass and numerous other delightful herbs.

Helen Glammed up for a meal

Mmmmmm Feed Me Now!!!

Any Night Isn't Complete Without Helen Getting Beat 7-1 In Pool

Following her severe drubbing Helen dragged me to bed to have her wicked way with me, and who says women don't find pub games impressive!!
This morning was a brief move of room to one with a double bed, still at only 400 baht a night although the problem was now that we were a floor higher i couldn't tap into the Irish bars Wi-Fi.
So while Helen was having her Nails done at the nail bar, i walked downstairs and asked the manager for his wi-fi password (bear in mind its meant to cost 100 baht extra, to be fair i don't think he really knew what to do, so he just gave me it and watched me with a bemused look on his face while i wandered off whistling.

This Afternoon we were on a Elephant Jungle trek one of the things that has been on Helen's must do list since we landed in Thailand, my god what a Buzz.
If you are ever in the fortunate position to be able to take one of these trips and are wondering if its worth the cash ask yourself these questions.

1.) Am i going to miss a Tenner that much?
2.) Am i that tight fisted, I'd worry about missing a tenner?
3.) Would i prefer 4/5 beers to having a ace time with a Massive creature that could quite easily snap me like a twig?
4.) Would anyone prefer to listen to my story of me spending a tenner on beer?
5.) If Paul finds out i had the chance to go on a Elephant ride and didn't, how much is the slap that he gives me gonna hurt? (alot if your wondering)

It was one of the best experiences ever, and they are far bigger than i ever imagined, the one we rode was about 6000 kg in weight, but they can grow up to 8000kg and being carried through tropical rain forest on the back of one of these magnificent beasts, was something i will always treasure as a memory.
